novell portlets as war

Hi, is it possible to obtain all Novell portlets as war files (liferay
plugins) for deploying in newer version of Liferay?

Hi Keranchuck!
We don't supply the portlets as war files, as we only support a tested
version of Liferay and cannot guarantee that the portlets will work on
any other versions. Also, in order to run the NOC portlets on any other
compatible CMS (including unsupported versions of Liferay) you would
need to do a lot more than just drop them in place as they use a custom
authentication module, for which we do not publish the source code. This
is for security and data integrity purposes.
So in short, even if the portlet code was packaged in war files, it
still wouldn't run if just dropped into a different version of Liferay,
or any other untested CMS.

I hope that helps.
Yon.
