Can SNMP Interceptor Policies be Converted Into opcmsg Policies

I’ve never encountered such a thing in my entire career, and do not see a way to even introduce SNMP VARBINDs into an opcmsg policy in OBM 2018.11. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: Can SNMP Interceptor Policies be Converted Into opcmsg Policies

I dont know your usecase, but i see only 2 solutions.

1) define a autoaction in the trap policy. define this autoaction to send opcmsg and use the predefined variables to fill up opcmsg message text.

2) i have one customer that uses a linux open source tool to catch traps and write them into a logfile. then use opcle to parse them.

good luck
