Getting ORA-28001: the password has expired pop up

Hi Experts,

OMi Version: 10.11 on Linux server

While trying to login on OMi admin console, getting below error since yesterday. I guess the OMi DB password is expired.
How to check the account name thats expired & do i need to run any configuration after DB guys set any new password.
Please advise on the steps need to be taken to resolve this.

An Error Occurred
Internal server error. Details: [Mercury][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-28001: the password has expired

Yes, if you prefer running Config Wizard via CMD rathen than UI, it would be silentConfigureBSM.sh.

In Oracle world user/account name is the same as schema name. So in your case it would be 3 accounts that correspond to 3 OMi schemas - Management, RTSM and Events. You must stop OMi, let your DBA reset the password(s), re-run Config Wizard on all OMi servers so that you could enter new DB credentials for all 3 schemas, and then start OMi again.

Hi Dmitry,

Thanks for your response. Can you tell me the script that needs to be executed as part of configuration wizard after the DB password change. Is it /opt/HP/BSM/bin/silentConfigureBSM.sh ?
