How to delete downtimes?

Jump to solution

We are using OMi 10.62 on Linux. Customer has created downtimes and we have around >1000 Downtimes (which are in state "finished"). How can we delete these downtimes?

Since the customer is creating them frequently and OMi has a limit we would like to delete old ones.

I have seen a JMX method for it but it does not seem to work. What is the official way to delete downtimes?

Hi Harald,

There is an option in OMi to configure the downtimes from the omi application console.

Administration > Setup and Maintenance > Infrastructure Settings

Open the Infrastructure Settings page:

1.Select Foundations.

2.From the Foundations drop-down list, select Downtime and change the settings according to your requirement.

Regards,

Ashok

We have limited the size to 5 days and got > 1000 downtimes. Therefore I was unsure if downtimes are deleted. We have investigated all downtimes and seen that all are in the 5 days time range... So the setting works 😉

Thanks!
