OMI-OO : ERROR - Adapter Flow: Invocation of adapter method

Jump to solution

Hi Experts,

OMI and OO integration got broke and i see this error in logs :

2018-11-19 20:17:59,207 [ajp-/127.0.0.1:8009-2] (AdapterMethodInterceptor.java:63) ERROR - Adapter Flow: Invocation of adapter method: 'OperationsOrchestrationAdapter.invokeRunBook(https://xxxxxx:8443/PAS/services/WSCentralService, com.hp.bsm.platform.oo.integration.model.dto.operation.orchestration.RunBookFlowDTO@a2812e7e, false)' failed

RUNBOOK is not accessible from OMi UI also .

Remote connection error. Check the HPBSM\log\jboss\oo_integration.log file for details

This was working earlier and i have verified the user permission and certificate , All looks ok.

OO URL is accesssible from OMi .

Version Details : OMI 10.12 IP6 , OO 10.60

Thanks,

Mahender Joshi

Solved by MF team :

In to the execution.log  we found this error:

Caused by: org.eclipse.aether.transfer.ArtifactTransferException: Could not transfer artifact com.hp.oo:oo-http-client-plugin:pom:1.12.4 from/to  (https://********.com:8443/oo/m2/artifacts😞 sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

And that help us to understand the issue was related with certificate. We review the central-wrapper.conf file a we saw that I was fine. Then we review the certificates and we found that the root CA and the intermediate CA certs were missing from the client.truststore, so we imported those certificates and that solve the issue.

Hello Joshi,

When using a custom attribute as an Event Attribute value, make sure the CI Type and CI Attribute values are also filled in.
For instance :
CI Type = CI Collection
CI Attribute = CI Type
Event Attribute = Company

For the error accessing the Runbook mapping page, it is also failing for admin user? Are you receiving a NullPointerException in oo_integration.log?
WARN  - Failed getting flow details for flow ID: ...
AxisFault
 faultCode: {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Server.userException
 faultSubcode:
 faultString: java.lang.NullPointerException
 faultActor:
 faultNode:
 faultDetail:

java.lang.NullPointerException

If so I think you need to check OO logs too, the NullPointer is the response from OO side when OMi requests the runbooks. Are you using LDAP?

You can also check the certificates in OMi and OO side, all OMi servers should have the certificates from OO, you can check them using opr-cert-mgmt tool, see usage here: https://docs.microfocus.com/OMi/10.63/Content/OMi/ExtGuide/Command_Line/cli_opr-cert-mgmt.htm

I'm not OO expert, so I'm not sure hoe to check the certificates on their side.

Best regards.

I have followed certificate sharing between OO-->OMi also reviewed Infrastructure setting , All looks ok.

But still RunBook is not accessible and not able to run them .
