Topology Import with an XML Policy

We use an XML Policy to import CIs and Relationships over XMLs files in OMi.

From time to time this interface stops working and there is nothing to see in the logs:

--------------------------------------------------------------

/var/opt/OV/shared/server/log/OvSvcDiscServer.log

- Discovery Server Service general

/opt/HP/BSM/log/wde/opr-svcdiscserver-citrace.log

- Discovery Server Service CI Import

/opt/HP/BSM/log/odb/odb/error.log

- Discovery Server Service CI Import Error Log

/var/opt/OV/log/System.txt

General System Log

--------------------------------------------------------

We don't understand what happens and we don't have the possibility beside these logs to do troubleshooting.

When we start it again, sometime we start the whole server, sometime it starts again but sometime not, also without any message in the logs above. Does someone have a more detailed description on how this interface works? Thanks.

Re: Topology Import with an XML Policy

Hello.

The interface that has the problem the stops, is it the “DataAdapterEnvironment Interface”? If not please specify which interface is the one that is randomly stopping.

Also could you specify the version of OMi that is being used?
