Better Oracle DB lock handling

0 Votes

We noticed issues with the Oracle deadlocking.
It seems as if MF-OO performs quite pervasive (Hibernate-based) locking in the database. In case of heavy load on the same flow (multiple simultaneous runs of the same flow) this will trigger some exceptions on OO Central by Hibernate ultimately caused by :
Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource.
We requested to use a fine locking method on the database side to avoid flow runs to fail due to DB deadlock.
Required :
Implement a more robust mechanism for handling Oracle DB locks

The way this request was formulated indicates that there are issues with the Oracle DB support for OO. If this is true, please raise a support ticket to get this properly investigated and resolved.
