Integration of PIM/PAM tools (like CyberArk) with OO

Hi Team,

Integrating thePersonal Identity Management (PIM) tool(s) like like CyberArk with OO. Clients doesn’t want to share their environment credentials for automation purpose to us ( monitoring teams) due to security reasons/compliance.

And this can be sorted out by PIM integration of our monitoring tools. So that customers directly enter the password in their PIM/PAM tools ( like CyberArk) and OO can use those credentials for automation and this how Customers dont need to these passwords.

Therefore I am proposing "OO-CyberArk Integration"

Thanks,

Niladri

Hello,

Do you see this as a content pack or a native integration in the OO platform (eg. use Cyberark instead of OO System Accounts)?

Thank you,

Personally, I would like to see it implemented in a mirror to the ServiceNow implementation.

Import the Java SDK provided by the CyberArk CP to the MID
Configure the MID to use CA CP integration
Set flag on internal account to use External Credential -> Cred is set to account name or safe:account name

I think that system accounts should be configured with the option to be resolved at run time as CyberArk credentials so that the process is transparent to all the steps using such credentials.

If it were implemented as CP, it would require content to be re-worked to take into account the methods to get a token from CyberArk and somehow to be passed to the steps actually issueing commands.
