Back up Scenario for HP Operations Orchestration
I need your help on the above tool. I am planning a design(architecture) on the tool and want to know how does the BACK UP scenario works for the tool.
Can we take back up of the workflows that we will implement in the Production Server.
If yes, please explain how.
Thanks in Advance.

Re: Back up Scenario for HP Operations Orchestration
Yes, you can take a backup of the workflows that you implement in the Production server.
In OO, Repository is what contains flows, operations and meta data.
At the repository level, you can back up the repository in a jar format.
In studio, Use the Repository menu to create the backup.
Select Repository -> Create Backup, Select the repository directory to back up, Name the jar file & select a backup location.
This is in brief about taking backup of your workflows that are in production server.
As a part of standard Architecture design process, backups of Database & File system should be planned for.
Regarding BACKUP scenarios these are highly dependent on your existing infrastructure, High availability requirements, environmental & multiple site/data center considerations/ requirements of your design.
Hope this helps !! 🙂
Thanks & Regards,
