Can I reboot a remote windows host through OO

Hi Experts,

I could not find reboot host operation for Windows.

Does OO has capability  to reboot remote windows host or I need to use powershell commands

Hi,

There is indeed no reboot operation since it is fairly difficult to get an exact moment in which the server's full functionality is back up (sometimes ping may work, but other services not be up yet). As such the only option if you want to perform reboots on any servers is to use the shell commands. I don't think powershell is strictly needed, regular remote command execution should also work (something like  shutdown /r  ).
