You can use the webservices of HPOO and Service now for integration that are provided with them and do required customizations.

Hi I wanted to integrate HP OO with Service-Now to call OO flows from Service-now whenever a new ticket is triggered. Could you please help me with the steps for the same. I could integrate OO with service-now to update the tickets. However , need to integrate the other way from service-now -> HP OO. plaese help.
There maybe a way to run RSFlowInvoke when a new ticket is created or in a state change to run a specific workflow. You can research at http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=Main_Page.
What we have done is run a scheduled flow to periodically check for change tickets in Planning state that contain a specific user in the watch list. When we find we we start processing the ticket with OO.
How did you do that ? i'm trying to integrate Service Now with HP OO.
I'm using HPOO 10.20 version and ServiceNow CP ( 1.1.0) Base (1 .9.1 ).
ServiceNow API is V2. Are these versions okay ?
There were some changes in the SNOW apis that created issues in OO ServiceNow CP 1.1.0. I suggest to try with 1.1.1 and let us know if you are still facing issues:
I took a different approach to starting HPE OO flows from ServiceNow. I used ServiceNow's outbound REST API to mimic the behavior of the HPE OO web pages. I could launch flows, monitor them, and cancel them the same way the web pages do. That meant I did not have to make HPE OO poll, and I did not have to add any explicit actions to the flows to report status back to ServiceNow.
If you don't have ServiceNow orchestration because you are committed to HPE OO, and you won't want to make your HPE OO flows more complicated, you might consider using this approach.
BTW, the HPE OO REST API documentation is excellent. Even better, the web app actually uses that REST API so it is thoroughly debugged. And you can use Firefox or Chrome to log the exact HPE OO web page REST requests and responses to figure out exactly what ServiceNow should do.
