How is a license considered unique?

Jump to solution

Hi!

I just want to know what does the OO server or HPE takes as unique to use a license, is it the IP Address or the MAC address? Can a license be uninstalled or stopped being used in a server and use it in another? I looked for this information in the guides of the product but can't find anything.

Thanks a lot!

The licnese file is locked by IP address and thus can not be moved/used by other servers.
