How to integrate HPOO with Active Directory?

Hello Team,

We are planning to automate the joining process(creating employee id, groups, domain and webmail) in our company. Currently our team using Microsoft Active Directory Manager Tool to do that. How to integrate Microsoft Active Directory Manager and HP OO? Is it possible in HP OO ver10.x? Or can we do that in HP OO ver10.x without any integration..?

Note: As of now both the tools are installed in two different domains.

Thanks in advance,

Shijo.

Re: How to integrate HPOO with Active Directory?

Hi ,

We do not need any integration between AD and HPOO.

1.If both are in different domains you should setup a RAS server  in AD domain and make sure 9004 port is open      bidirectionally.

2. Use Out of Box operations present in HPOO for AD. These operations fulfill 80%  of customer requirements.

3. If any OOB is not available, try achieve through powershell scripts.

4. I have performed all these operations for different customers.
