List vmware folders full path

Hello,

Is it possible using the CP operations for VMWARE to get a list of all the VM folders tree?

Looking to list all the folders path.

Tried with the "Advanced Search" but can't fill the inputs propsType and propsPathset correctly so it retrieves the path of the folders...

Has anyone ever done this?

Thanks

Re: List vmware folders full path

Hi,

I know about those operations but that gives the list of VM not folders.

What I need is the list of folders and their full path. The only object I think that could do that is the Advanced Search one but like I said I don't know how to fill the inputs with the correct properties to retrieve the list of folders and their path, if that is even possible...

Thanks anyway

Re: List vmware folders full path

Hello Zenal,

I hope you are fine.

After consult with my team, please take a look the answer below:

We can only do what the API allows to do, because currently we don't have an OOTB that does this.

Can VMWARE API do that?

I hope this information helps you,

Waiting your answer,
