Missing Items in Repository

Greetings

we are having an issue with our HPOO 9.07 repository. any Admin loged in cant seem to see the System Accounts folder and the Scriptlets folder under Configuration folder. It seems like a permissions issue but this happens for all admins to the central repository.

anyone seen this?

Re: Missing Items in Repository

Hello,

As you mention this issue seems to be related to the permissions. Please make sure that your groups have the correct permissions to see the proper folders on the
section tab "Manage Goups". Also, as a workaround, you can remove and add your users to the group with the permissions.

Re: Missing Items in Repository

I have a case opened on this issue currently. none of the Administrators can see the missing folder so its possible there is some data corruption in our repository.

Re: Missing Items in Repository

Do you have any errors in the Central logs?

Do you have any screenshots of how the rcrepo of Central actually looks like and how it looks in Central UI (it is in the UI where admins no longer see right?)

I remember there was a situation in 9x when you could delete .idx folder in rcrepo and restart Central to check structure again but it was long time ago :). Also there was the backups folder that you could rely on and "restore" some backed up zipped repo structure. If you have a case open it is a good thing.

Hope it helps,
