Need some advise with filling variables

Hi All,

On the central report the last line when it failed (Error : failure or  Resolved : successhas always in Result column this: {FailureMessage=;TimedOut=;Result=;}

What would be the best way to fill those variables with proper content? That is the same in failure or success cases.

Re: Need some advise with filling variables

Hi Alex,

As to my experience these variables are being set by OO in itself and they are always null. I could not fill these variables yet.

As a workaround, I am setting my own variables these steps and getting them as an output. For example I have a "failureMessage" parameter and setting these parameter as an input and result in the operation. If I use the flow as a subflow I am using my own variable in the main flow.

Why do you need to fill these variables? If you have to, we should open a case to HP for this issue.

Re: Need some advise with filling variables

Thank you ntt00015. I do the same, but I am looking to use those vars in the following situation: when I use JRSFlowInvoke the output stream has those values as well, and in order to specify additional details about execution, I am looking to use those vars... Wondering how anyone did workaround this...

Re: Need some advise with filling variables

Best of my knowledge, JRSFlowInvoke only returns the "start status" of the flow, not the flow result. It is because of the flow finishing time.
JRSFlowInvoke does not wait to finish of the flow for returning response message. If you are expecting the result of the flow you might not get the flow result.
Nevertheless it is better to open an ER to HP about this issue.
Best Regards.
