OO 10.20 with Windows Server 2016

Jump to solution

Hi,

I am working on OO 10.20 under Windows Server 2008 R2.

Our enterprise will do an upgrade of all Server's Operating Systems to Windows Server 2016 .

Could someone tell me if there is no issue for OO with Windows Server 2016 (Central, RASs and DB).

Regards;

According to the 10.20 supported platform matrix, it is not officially supported.  Due to the backwards compatibility of operating systems, it may work but it would be considered unconfirmed.

10.8 appears to be the first release that supported Windows Server 2016.

OO 10.20 was released in Nov 2014 and the newest  version of Windows Server added at that time was Windows Server 2012.

Since 10.20 is now over 5 years old, we'd recommend you take this opportunity to upgrade OO to a newer release that would also include support for more recent operating systems.
