OO 10.70 - Flow keeps on showing Pending cancel... succeeding run unable to successfully Lock

Hi!

OO 10.70

I cancelled one flow from running yesterday and to my surprise the flow status was still PENDING CANCEL after 1 day has passed.  The effect is succeeding runs of the same flow do not proceed because it's unable to make Lock.

Btw, the beggining step of the flow is to Lock to prevent simultaneous runs.

Any idea how to tell OO that the flow has been cancelled? or to forcefully cancel the flow?

Thanks.

Regards,

Don

Run this database command:

UPDATE OO_EXECUTION_SUMMARY

SET STATUS='CANCELED',

RESULT_STATUS_TYPE=NULL,

RESULT_STATUS_NAME=NULL,

ROI=NULL

where EXECUTION_ID=xxxxxxx

Hi,

While Jill's answer will indeed move the flow in the UI to canceled state this will not solve your locking issues. If possible contact Support as they have a procedure for moving pending flows to canceled state and clear up any leftover data from the execution.

If support is not an option in order to remove the lock(s) run this query:

delete from oo_runtime_value_store where KEY_ = 'LOCK:lock_value'

Hope this helps,

Vlad
