Customer found their month OO Database Consumption total usage reduced to  80.79GB from 96.74GB.

They did not use any stored procedures or purge flow to purge historical data.

Hi,

HPOO has mechanisms to delete records from some tables. For example: the OO_EXECUTION* tables retain data of the flows currently being executed, once the flows finished their execution, their corresponding records are removed/deleted from these tables periodically.

On the other hand, I am not sure if you have ever purged the database but didn't reclaim HD space directly from the database engine, if space was never reclaimed and your DBA just did, that may explain the drop in size.

Regards.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

About 'their corresponding records are removed/deleted from these tables periodically', do you know how long the periodically is?  or when the record data increase to certain value, it will be delete?

Because there are about 15GB data reducation.  is the records can be so large?

And could you provide me some documents about this?

Best Regards!
