OO/HPSA/SM integration User Security

OO/HPSA integration User Security

What type of authentication, auditing, logging are others using when using OO to run items in HPSA?  Are you using one generic ID or do users have to have an OO and SA account?

This would also apply to SM integration.

Re: OO/HPSA/SM integration User Security

We are using a unique system ID for automated workflows between OO and SM, as well as OO and SA. By using a unique ID we are able to track what is being done through an automated workflow and what is being done manually by a user.

We restrict access to OO and SA, mostly since users only need access to SM in order to kick off workflows. The majority of our users in OO/SA have restricted access only for troubleshooting and/or code promotions.

Hope this helps.
