(OO) Support Tip: How to change the JDBC URL of the database?

The following procedure is relevant to both Windows and Linux.

1. Modify the ICONCLUDE_HOME\Central\WEB-INF\classes\hibernate.properties file.  Change the property hibernate.connection.url to point to the new JDBC URL.
Note: JDBC should be a link to the templates for JDBC URL information.
2. Modify the ICONCLUDE_HOME\Central\WEB-INF\classes\hibernate_en.properties file.  Change the property hibernate.connection.url to point to the new JDBC URL.
3. Modify the ICONCLUDE_HOME\Central\conf\Central.properties file.  Change the property hibernate.connection.url to point to the new JDBC URL.
4. Modify the ICONCLUDE_HOME\Central\conf\quartz.properties file.  Change the property org.quartz.dataSource.schedulerDS.URL to point to the new JDBC
URL.

Templates for JDBC URL:
- mysql template: jdbc:mysql://<hostname>:<port>/<schema>?autoReconnect=true
- oracle sid template: jdbc:oracle:thin:@<hostname>:<port>:<sid>
- oracle service template: jdbc:oracle:thin:@//<hostname>:<port>/<service_name>
- oracle RAC template: jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION=(LOAD_BALANCE=on)
(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST= <hostname1>)(PORT=1521))
(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST= <hostname2>)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=
(SERVICE_NAME= <service name>)))
- mssql 2008 R1, R2 template: jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://<hostname>:<port>/<schema>
[;sendStringParametersAsUnicode=(true|false)][;instanceName=<SQLInstanceName>;][;ssl=
(requested|required)]
- mssql 2005 template: jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://<hostname>:<port>/<schema>
[;sendStringParametersAsUnicode=(true|false)][;instance=<SQLInstanceName>][;ssl=
(requested|required)]

Please note: After changing these files, please restart RSCentral and RSJRAS services.
