(OO) Support Tip: Nested groups support in AD/LDAP configuration

OO is only capable of locating users with a nesting level of one (which is usually directly underneath the specified group).  How to allow multiple levels of nested groups support in the Active Directory (AD)/Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) configuration?

Enhancement request QCCR8C25668 Add nested groups support in AD/LDAP configuration when using external authentication has been submitted
for this issue.  Please see the associated knowledge document at https://softwaresupport.hp.com/km/KM01194187

Workaround:

The special AD query attribute member:1.2.840.113556.1.4.1941:={0} can be used in the search filter to search in nested groups as well.

For example:
(&(|(objectclass=groupofuniquenames)(objectclass=group)(objectclass=groupOfNames))(|(uniqueMember={0})(member:1.2.840.113556.1.4.1941:={0})))
