[OO Support Tip] What is the description of the guestOSID input?

Question:

What is the description of the guestOSID input?

Problem:

When running Operations Orchestration (OO) version 9.0 and VMWare Virtual Infrastructure integration to create a new virtual machine, there is a parameter called “guestOSID” to input.  When “win95Guest” is tried as indicated in OO_9.00.03_VMware_VirtInfra_Integ.pdf this value does not work. By trying another value “win95NT” and this worked. Please explain the meaning of this parameter.

Answer:

The input GuestOSID is a pipe-delimited list of the guest operating system ID.
