[OO Tip] Central fails in 2-node Cluster with "Failed To Modify Field"

Problem:

Applies to OO 9.00 to 9.02

After starting Cluster service and attempting to start the Central service, it fails with com.tc.object.util.ReadOnlyException.

Central_wrapper.log reports:

Resolution:

Steps for workaround/resolution:

1. Edit %ICONCLUDE_HOME%/Clustering/terracotta/tc-config.xml
2. Locate the locks section
3. After the first <autolock> block, append these lines

<autolock auto-synchronized="true">
           <method-expression>* com.iconclude.dharma.commons.repo.DharmaPathReference.*(..)</method-expression>
           <lock-level>write</lock-level>
</autolock>

4. Stop/Start OO services (Cluster(s) first, then Central(s), and then others)
