OO Web designer installation
Anybody encountered issues with the Web designer installation?
Installation is stuck on "Start Operations Orchestration Designer" with the spinning symbol.
Installation logs not showing errors
Checked Windows services and the Designer service is there.

Thank you for contacting Micro Focus Forum.
My name is Carlos Robles, I am from the OO team.
Regarding your question, this issue is happening once you finish the installation?
Best Regards,
Carlos Robles

Hi Carlos,
The last step in the installation process is "Open Web designer"
It just sticks at this step with the rotating symbol and doesn't progress any further

Still having problems getting this installed
MF advised that the issue was the DB version (SQL Server 2017) so tried it on an older DB version (2016) but still having the same problem.
OO Central is installed on the same server and uses SQL Server 2017 just fine.
In the installer log this is where it errors

Hello,
I am getting the similar issue when trying to install Designer/Central with IDM (without IDM, only with buil-in oo authentication mechanism, the central installation works). In my case the installation finishes after few connection refused log messages but the installed Designer/Central are not reachable at their ports.
what are the reasons the IDM can cause this issue?
thank you
Kamil

Did you check any of the logs? install, wrapper, server, general ones?
Are you spotting anything unusual? maybe a certificate error or a database one?

Can you provide an archive with the logs?
