[OO] What are the maximum number of concurrent flows?

Question:

What is the maximum number of concurrent flows that can be set in the Operations Orchestration (OO) configuration file?

Solution:

The maximum number of flows that Central can concurrently run should be specified according to the workload and number of users using the system. This is an administrators decision.

The maximum number of flows that Central can be configured to run is limited by system resources, mainly memory. If the number of allowed concurrent runs is set too high, without having corresponding system resources (memory), it can slow the performance of the system and have a negative impact. Limitations are mainly imposed by system resources and not Operations Orchestration.

Please see Operations Orchestration documents, Administrators Guide, section "Sizing Central for your workload" where it details more information about this topic.
