Output to CSV

Hi All,

I think I already know the anwser but is it possible to output results as a CSV in OO.

I know there is OOTB content that lets output to xls

Hi All,

So a change to the question, I can now output as a .csv.

The data is strutured but all in column A.

Anyone aware of options to format into colums?

Hello 

Yes you can output data in format you want.

You have to use Column and Row Deliminator inputs intelligently. 

If you have string or data in varible make sure you have different deliminators which differentiates Row and Coloumn

eg...

myData = "row1column1|row1column2|row1column3|row1column4##row2column1|row2column3|row2column4##row3column1|row3column2|row3column3|row3column4"

Here row deliminator is ## (double hash) and Column deliminator is | (pipe).

Note: it is compulsory that column count for each row must be equal.

You can also embed headers if you want with same technique.
