SCCM Integration

Hi experts,

i try to have some informations regarding Microsoft SCCM intregation.

We are under OO 10.20, there are some operation in the IT Operations CP but our need is quite not present.

We are developping a flow which deals the servers boot. My perimeter is large, including SCCM managed boots.

In SCCM, when we are in a maintenance period of a server, if there are some available patches to be installed, SCCM do it, and one or several of them need a boot, SCCM do send a boot order to the server.

And we don't have found how to catch this in a flow : what we would do is that SCCM start a HPOO flow.

Any ideas on this ?

Re: SCCM Integration

Hi zajac,

Can you please confirm that the following is the scenario that you are trying to achieve:

1) SCCM sends a boot command to the server

2) You are catching that command on the SCCM side and then you would like to trigger a flow outside of OO

3) The trigger is sent to OO and the desired flow is launched

Best regards,
Daniel

Re: SCCM Integration

SCCM should use the OO REST API to trigger the corresponding flow

Re: SCCM Integration

Hi,

If SCCM can call an external process or batch file - OO has an API/SDK guide - which can be found on HPLN.

The solution was a general example.  Support does not architect/create custom solutions - Those would come from the Professional Services organization.

As long as a product can call an external executable there are ways to create java/.NET etc calls into OO using the API/SDK guide.
