Jump to solution

I am getting the below error in my studio.

ERROR [AWT-EventQueue-1] (13:08:06,053) com.iconclude.dharma.app.util.ErrorPane - An exception has been detected
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

How do I increase the heap size?

Thanks,

Don

Hello Don,

Could you try the following steps to increase the maximum java heap size?

- Backup %ICONCLUDE_HOME%\Studio\Studio.l4j.ini
- Open %ICONCLUDE_HOME%\Studio\Studio.l4j.ini using a text editor.
- Modify “-Xmx512M” in Studio.l4j.ini to increase the max Java heap size  (ex. -Xmx1024M)
(Add the line if it it does not exist.)
- Restart Studio

Thanks,
Shu
