Use the input variable for Password which has to be passed on to the command

Objective is to “Use the input variable for Password which has to be passed on to the command to achieve this result”

In OO whenever we execute a flow which remotely logins to the server it prompts for.

  1. IP Address
  2. User Name
  3. Password

Which are dynamically stored in Flow Variables and after the flow is completed these Flow Variables are cleared. In any of the existing flows in OO passwords  etc don’t get stored they are dynamically assigned to Flow Variables within the flows and then after the flow is completed the Flow variables are cleared.

So when we enter the password for the user in above Window it gets stores in a flow variable say “pwd”. Then in this case the execution command will be.

echo $pwd | sudo -S /etc/init.d/httpd stop
