Windows command error - The semaphore timeout period has expired

Hi All,

When trying to run a Windows command on a server i am getting the error

System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The semaphore timeout period has expired
at dotNETWebActions_RemoteExecution.RemoteExecution.Execute(ActionRequest req, ISession s, IActionRegistry reg)

Has anybody ever experienced this before?

Re: Windows command error - The semaphore timeout period has expired

Hello Devildiablo,

The main reason of this error is that the Windows does not retry the network connection and it is timed out. The reason for network problem might be because of weak signals or slow wired links or a faulty network adapter driver.

Is this happening with any single host?

Regards!
