ws-wizard has problem in reading a URL

I want to generate operations from this wsdl: https://ctf.open.collab.net/ce-soap60/services/CollabNet?wsdl

With SoapUI 5.3.0 I can load the WSDL and generate working requests.

When I load the same URL in Web Services Wizard-10.70, I get "An error has ocurred while trying to load the WSDL" (spelling error as displayed by wizard 🙂 ).

Am I missing something?

Re: ws-wizard has problem in reading a URL

I was able to reach to the level described in the screenshot. You did not?

What if you provide the xml file and not the url. You have the same behavior?

Try to run as administrator. Just in case...

Re: ws-wizard has problem in reading a URL

Hi Andrei,

When I save the WSDL to a file, the wizard works fine.

But I guess it should also work with providing a URL?

Thanks,

Marjo

Re: ws-wizard has problem in reading a URL

Run as admin seems to work, but not for this WSDL (while it does load from a file). The ws-wizard.log just stops after 3 lines, without any error message.

Two other WSDLs from the same location worked fine.

Re: ws-wizard has problem in reading a URL

It should work for sure. For me it does in both ways.

Did you try to provide a proxy in the wizard?

Re: ws-wizard has problem in reading a URL

The WSDLs are public. No proxy is needed.

And only one WSDL fails to load, the others load fine from the URL.

Anyway, first saving the problematic WSDL to a file is a good workaround.
