Birthday Girl

Today is my eldest daughter's birthday, and the significance of this
particular age is that she is 1/2 my age. Of course, I can't tell you how
old she is now <heehee> as it seems unbelievable to me that I'm not that age
NOW.

Re: Birthday Girl

Just tell her she is catching up with you. At (<1/2 of her present
age) she was only 25% of the way to your young age....now 50%....

I just hit 70% of my Father.....sigh....and Daughter is >50% of me...

I am feeling old these days.

Well, for my youngest child, that will be more like it for me too <g>. Can
you imagine that my mother was 36 when I left home for college? With me
being an only child, that meant she was an "empty nester" younger than I had
my last child <sigh> <g>.

My father is exactly thirty five years and five months older than me. 😄

An old friend of mine is exactly 1 year younger than me. 😄

And the daughter of my moms friend was born the same day as me in the
same hospital, but several hours before me. Sadly she passed away from
injuries sustained in a go-kart accident many years ago. 😞

I remember my parents being as old as I am now. That's a bit... odd.

Hmmmm, I think I remember celebrating my Dad's 55th birthday. As that
seems to be on my calendar soon ...
