Does this exist? USB CDROM emulator

Does anyone know if a device like this exists:
I'm looking for an USB memory stick or hard disk that can emulate a
CDROM/DVD drive. I should be able to somehow copy an ISO file to it, and
that ISO file should then be visible as a physical CDROM drive.
I'm not looking for software CDROM emulators. I'm already using Daemon
tools for that. What I need is a quick way to emulate a CDROM from which I
can boot for installation or firmware upgrade purposes without having to
burn a CD each time I need one.

Hrrrmmmm... If you had a mac you could make an external firewire drive
bootable.

Plus if he had a Mac he could jump higher, run faster, be more creative,
etc.

Yes you can extract an ISO onto a memory stick and make it bootable. So
long as the motherboard supports booting from usb drive.... Let me see
if I can find out the details, its been a while since ive done it....

oh, wait... dd.exe does it.... it makes iso's from or extracts iso's to
almost any type of media

That is the Emulation device I just created for use at our shop. USB MassStorage device with cd emulation build in. just copy over the iso file, put the device in cd emulation mode and select the image. fully bootable in every system tested so far, and all iso have worked without a hitch! check it out: USB CD Emulation

I've just found this, which sounds like exactly what you were looking for.

I haven't tested it yet, but it looks like it'll do what you (and I) want.
