....by selling them with XP pre-installed. I was looking for laptops and
here is what I was greeted to on the main laptop site:

Anothre thing is they will send you the XP restore CDs if you get one
with Vista. Mine were free.

Just bought a 8510p with XP and am very pleased with it. 3G max memory
though...
