I guess summer is really here ...

No more tomatoes until the fall, as the the overnight low has been in the
70s (F) for a while (actually, the overnight low was 79 F the last two
nights). We're under a severe thunderstorm watch now. I hope we do get a
thunderstorm tonight; the plants need the water and it would cool things
down.

Where are you Donald?
We've not even put our A/C on yet in New England...
Normally we would have but it's been chilly.
Not that I'm complaining......

9C (48F) here at the moment. We've been lucky if we have been getting
in to double figures over the last couple of weeks.

Just passed the Winter Solstice...roll on spring...

Re: I guess summer is really here ...

Apparently folks here had a lovely couple of weeks the first half of
June -- we didn't notice -- in that we were up north (Vancouver Island,
Alaska cruise, Anchorage and Denali).

Northern Florida. The downside to moving here from South Florida is that
the winters are colder and the summers are hotter. Last summer, when we had
just moved here, was fairly mild.

I'm not prepared to spend a winter in Alaska, however.

If Arnold Schwarzenegger were governor of Alaska, what would we call him?

Hmmm! That's in a different direction and on another plane from what I had
in mind.

We still have green tomatoes on the plants, but it's too hot for any more
to set.
