Re: I just realized ...

Punched cards and paper tape?

Toggle switches and lamps on the CPU for programming bootstrap loaders?

Hand-wired memory cores?

Teletypes and key punch machines?

Mag tape?

My uncle got me in to computers when I was 12 or 13. The first os I had
was Windows 3.0 then he upgraded me to 3.11 for workgroups...

He showed me how to download pictures from the BBS groups he belonged
to... That ended quickly when mom found out... LOL....Those were the days.

Possible.. I don't remember much from the 80's since I was a wee lil lad
then... And between um 1994 - 1999, those years were just a haze of
smoke....

Speaking of smoke...

I have been smoke free for 3 weeks 🙂
