Killing my brain cells

OK, so I used to think a good hearty night of over-imbibing was the
quickest way to kill off those weak-link brain cells, but have now
found a quicker way: MTV.
Specifically "The real world" and "jersey shore".
It's like watching Failblog on tv.

I crawled into bed last night, and the S.O. was laying down watching
the real world. It seriously caused me mental anguish to watch. Two
partial seizures and a near-stroke later, I had to roll over with a
pillow over my head and fall asleep.

The same thing happens to me when mrs.azc watches "Most Haunted".

"Are there any spirits present?"

<an indistinct knock, creek or shuffling sound>

"There's definitely a presense here.."

Yup that's the ones. Yvette Fielding and her hubby, with a bunch of
friends.

Screaming and screaching at the slightest provocation.

Reminds me of the "Family Guy" episode when Stewie is grilling Brian
about what Brian and his airhead girlfriend like to talk about:

--> Brian: Uh, a lot of things, umm... food, um... the new seat covers
she just got for her Jetta, um ... Real World/Road Rules Challenge...
--> Stewie: But you hate MTV!
--> Brian: Pot helps.

For myself, I can't abide "reality" TV of any kind, and I don't even
know where MTV is on my cable lineup. You have my sympathy.

I like reality TV, but the actual "reality" kind: Dirty Jobs, Axe-men,
Modern Marvels, etc.

I love Stewart...he always ends up getting hurt in some fashion. 🙂
