Are you moving to NIMS or Lotus Notes?

Re: Last day ....

You will just LOVE those client side ONLY rules! Nothing says enterprise
class email system like having to leave your email client open to run
rules...

Lindsey:

I'm so sorry to hear this, not just for you, but for the other
employees there. I'm betting they're getting it for a very nice price,
too. : )

So how many Exchange admins did you all have to hire. 😛

Re: Last day ....

Try unsending email & compare it to how it works with gw...it is no longer
your email, it belongs to them.

Also, try editing your frequent contacts...oh, wait, you need to use a 3rd
party tool to edit your .N2K file

Yeah, retracting stinks in Exchange, IMO. One of the few things it doesn't do well is the whole Sent Item business. Although it's nice that it's actually DIFFERENT than "mailbox".

Makes archiving policies in groupwise a royal PITA because Novell considers "sent items" to really be an item type of "mailbox" so you cannot have a diff. archive policy for "mailbox" and "sent items".

The FC doesn't really bother me as I've yet to see it totally freak out and keep bad names around like GW is prone to do (when moving users).

Pros and Cons to both.

Well keep us posted. It would be nice to hear some honest feedback from
an experienced GW person on how Outlook compares once you've been living
with it for a while.

Re: Last day ....

Another one I just love - delayed delivery. Again, this one appears to be a
client side action instead of server action (unless someone can correct me).
Why do I need to leave my ol client open in order to send a delayed email?
That sort of thing was handled on the server side of things with gw......

Re: Last day ....
