I thought Pluto wasn't a planet any more. And I never heard about
Callisto being promoted from asteroid to "dwarf planet."

I think I remember Pluto being demoted to "dwarf planet." But Ceres and
Eris are both new to me.

(slams palms on desk) That is enough! No more messing with our own solar
system!
Someone's got to rein in these durned astronomers that want to be all
namby-pamby about welllll, it's a lot like a planet but it's really small,
but not *too* small, so how 'bout we call it not quite anything...

That phrase always makes me think of Boston Legal now. 🙂

Almost like 'Nobody' in Dead Man. If I was to ever have children, I
would be voting for the name 'Nobody'.

"Who are you talking to?"
"Nobody"

A little vague on your reference, Wikipedia helps a little and implies
it is more philosophical?
Nobody in Dead Man was pretty much shunned by his tribe - educated -
stuck between two very different worlds.

Not that philosophical. "Nowhere Man" just seemed to be in synch with
the nihilistic theme of the thread and his character lived in a
limboland where busy work was done for no particular reason. 😉
