My first order!

I got my first order this morning. I need a dozen cookies for Friday
morning.

This is wear the $$ is. I am selling 12 for the price of 10 direct to
the client which is nearly twice the profit for a cookie half the size
I sell in the café.

You should try selling them $1 a cookie or 2 for $5 and see how many
actually buy 2 for $5 thinking that's a good deal. 🙂

Well, as Brian is in another country, selling his stuff for American
dollars might provide an interesting twist. -g-

Use the concept and just convert to another currency. Same principle
applies regardless of the currency.

2 reals a cookie or 2 for 10 reals

Funny, I performed a Google search of "brazilian currency" to see what
the currency was. Well, that's not funny. But what is funny is the
search suggestions that popped up by typing the word brazilian

#1: brazilian wax
#3: brazilian girls

Re: My first order!

Most Latin American countries tie their currency to the US$ and
generally accept greenbacks just as easily as the local currency. When I
was in Panama, where the local currency is the Balboa, they referred to
prices in US$ as "pesos," which sounded a little weird for this gringo.

Holy Chocolate Chunks!

The café is out of Cookies again.

I am going to fight for more space now. I can't keep going back there
every two days. I have cookies to make!

Re: Holy Chocolate Chunks!

Did you post a recipe? Or is it like Mrs. Fields' recipe, a closely
guarded secret? 🙂

Hermetically sealed in a Best Foods (Heilmann's) mayonaise jar buried in an
undisclosed Brasilian monk's undisclosed back yard.
