If any one know a date, can you please advise as we are running Novell Open Office for more than one year and they are many fixes in 3.2. Please advise we can direct my question to regarding a target date for Novell Open Office.

I need the Windows version for my users and Novell support, so go-oo.org or Software.openSUSE.org is not an option. But the linux version works great on my openSUSE.

What is the major differences between openoffice and go-oo version?

The go-oo have some more MS interoperability stuff than the regular Sun OpenOffice.

Matthew Good wrote:

It's explained here:

http://go-oo.org/discover/

Go-oo is a Novell lead project that provides a special version of
OpenOffice which integrates new functionality before that functionality
makes its way into the official release of OpenOffice.

In essence, go-oo is the Novell edition of OpenOffice but without the
parts that need special licensing (e.g. like the extra fonts).

Because of the extra fonctionality of go-oo compared to the official
version, a number of Linux distributions provide the go-oo version instead
of the official version by default. These Linux versions are enumerated
here:
