Nude at work

I am working wearing no shoes sox or shirt. It rained so hard the four
blocks I had to walk that I was completely dripping. If they want me to
wear clothes they can pay me enough to buy a car.

Re: Nude at work

At least it was just rain. Below 19 here, with lake effect snow, white
outs, and icy roads. I made here in one piece, courtesy of 2 nice truck
drivers who kept me safely between them...all of us going under 20mph the
entire way.

Re: Nude at work

They'd probably bump up my salary enough for a raincoat.

Re: Nude at work

Which would probably be just enough to bump you up a tax bracket and
effectively reduce your take-home........

Re: Nude at work

What a winter! We had an ice storm Sunday, followed by an inch or so of
snow. The city has nearly run out of salt and will no longer salt or sand
secondary roads. Getting to work these last two days ... I just wonder why
anyone even *tries* to drive after a snow around here. I want to know how
many of my fellow commuters are doing jobs that they *could* do at home.
It'd be marvelous if they were permitted to.

Re: Nude at work

We're almost out of salt too, so they're using sand.

I CAN do everything I need to from home, with the exception of a few
servers that are still physical and don't have ILO boards installed. So I'd
be in trouble with those few if I needed to actually go hit a power button.
I don't understand why we can't just stay home and work on those days...I
actually get more done at home than I do at work. 🙂

A good chunk of my work comes from people dropping by my office to see if
I'm in there. That work'd slow down ;).

I lurves me my ILO cards, yes I do.
