I think I heard Matthew say something like:

I don't try to one up the other person, I just get tired of getting
lied to about a lot of things.

Steve:

Well, there's chronological age and emotional age. They don't always
match. I wish I had some magic words for you that would make wonderful
things happen in your life partner-wise, but I don't. I just hope
someone comes along soon for you. : )

Stevo:

Maybe if you held your breath and turned blue they'd race you to the
hospital where you could meet a nice nurse! <G>

Re: One for the single 'good guys' out there.

Matthew,

you should have been thinking "spelling" 🙂
Main Entry: aisle
Pronunciation: \?i-(-?)l\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English ile, alteration of ele, from Anglo-French, literally, wing, from Latin ala; akin to Old English eaxl shoulder, Latin axis axletree — more at axis
Date: 15th century

1 : the side of a church nave separated by piers from the nave proper
2 a (1) : a passage (as in a theater or railroad passenger car) separating sections of seats (2) : such a passage regarded as separating opposing parties in a legislature <supported by members on both sides of the aisle> b : a passage (as in a store or warehouse) for inside traffic

Whether I'm try to pay attention, or trying *not* to pay attention, I
usually fail.

Its especially difficult when I'm trying to do both at the same time.
