It's not always the age difference as much as it can be the life experience.

Re: One for the single 'good guys' out there.

What I find with people on both sides of the isle is they all have trust
issues. Instead of talking and working through them they try to one up
the other person. Even when they don't need to.

I find that talking about finance, marriage, kids, etc on the first date
to be an excellent way to weed out the bad ones. No guarantee's mind
you, but when you talk about that stuff and they aren't willing to then
it's prolly not going to go good. 😄

Sorry, that was a gullible question. Forget I asked.

Re: One for the single 'good guys' out there.

Nope. Not a single bit.

I'm not talking about asking what they make or anything. I'm talking
about how I prefer to spend my money. Example. One girl I talked to I
started out talking about how I budget myself so that I don't over spend
my money. She said she just spends it on whatever till it's gone. She
was 28. Date ended quickly.

Another example with kids (I currently don't own any :-P) went something
like this. I said something along the lines of I don't think you should
lie to kids about anything. Maybe find tactful ways of saying what
needs to be said, but never lie. Her response was something along the
lines of you can't tell kids the truth because they don't understand
anything. Once again. Date ended quickly.

So no. I'm not kidding.

My current gf and I talk about all that stuff and so far things are very
good between us. Very good. 😄
