Yep. I would say Oracle has lost it's blooming mind, but let's be
honest. They did that a long time ago.

I wonder how many people are gonna jump on that? Microsoft should take
not and create their own. They could make a killing.

To think that we once considered deploying OpenOffice as an MS Office
replacement.. That went straight to the "forget it" bin when Oracle
purchased Sun. This, and the April 2nd quitting of the "father of Java", is
just reinforcing that decision.

We're actually considering deploying Lotus Symphony (a suite based on
O^3) alongside Office 2K7. We have deployed Lotus Smartsuite in the
past, but as we push towards Win7, I don't want to support it. In fact
I want Lotus Smartsuite to die a very fiery death.

I hope Oracle doesn't seriously damper the developments of OOo...
