RIP GM

Oh what shall we do? More importantly how is my mom gonna get parts for
her Saturn when GM 'tries' to sell it and no one buys it.

Re: RIP GM

Oops!

Somebody entered their BUY order wrong - a huge spike occurred this morning
when someone offered $22.91 per share for GM. Presumably, they meant to
offer $0.2291 per share.

Re: RIP GM

It's ust being "re-branded" as Government Motors is all....this is why I
prefer Fords..my next vehicle will most likely be a Ford F150...if they're
still allowed to make them and sell them to the general public.

Re: RIP GM

I just got finished reading an article saying the stock was down on
anticipation that it will be delisted tomorrow. The embedded ticker showed
it up 20%!!!

Re: RIP GM

Only problem is I'm not ready to buy yet, and by the time I am the new
mileage regs may be in place. Of course, I could always buy an old one
with no computer chips and overhaul it myself. 🙂

Just because GM has gone into bankruptcy doesn't mean you can't get parts
for your GM car any more. The parts didn't all vanish from the face of
the planet.

Re: RIP GM

Many companies go into bankruptcy protection.
How many airlines have done this?
GM will be fine once it does a little house cleaning.
