Only subject worse on that scale is talking about browsers, man do I

I don't know if I want to know any more info about *that*.

Re: Silence

The climate inside work buildings has got to be one of the greatest
mysteries of the universe. You paid how much for that HVAC? And you
pay how much every year for them to come out and fix it how many times?
And we're still *#^&$( freezing?

(and oh, how I would love to *open a window* and allow a breath of fresh
air into the office!)

Not possible here, all windows on the first three floors and the top
floor are bullet proof, so do not open. The smoking balconies that were
designed into the building have all been shut down as they don't meet
state law by providing a space at least 25 feet from a door, we are in
downtown, not sure if they know what fresh air is down here. Request
denied.

Re: Silence

And I'm not permitted to discuss it anymore and will be immedately
escorted from the building, right?

Re: Silence

In your particular case, I would have to agree with the people who told
you that.

Re: Silence

What really gets me is that if you feign ignorance or boredom with their
opinion on O/S, H/W, browser, etc., ad nauseum, they get even more upset
with you than if you disagreed with them.

hehe

Or be a butt and just disagree for the sake of disagreeing.

I usually try to pretend I'm doing work. Fortunately I'm usually actually doing work, so it's not a problem.

Or pretend I have to go to the bathroom. That works too.

Ah, that's nothing. The first time the heat was turned on in the new
building we had moved into, the cardboard that had been left on the heating
elements caught fire.
