Silverlight

I'm gonna start saying no to company's who only use Silverlight. Why?
Because I dislike Silverlight and Flash, but at least I can use Flash on
Linux.

Nope... what? Nope, you can't use Moonlight on Linux? Not sure why that
would be.

That's a people problem, not a technology problem.

To be fair I never said it was a technology problem. I'm just a jerk.
No other reason than just being a Microsoft hater and waking up on the
wrong side of the bed.

Re: Silverlight

In working with city IT, one of the new apps fire/rescue is using to save
your life is based on silverlight. Doesn’t that make you feel better that
your life is in silverlight's hands?

I'd rather that than have it be based on .NET/Mono...

Well designed and well tested programs written in .net do work well. My
pissing is just about it being from Microsoft. Had some other company
created Silverlight I probably wouldn't say a word any more negative
than what I say about flash.
