Still Alive...

Been busier than a 3 legged... well you get the idea...

Updates...

Dec 07: Slide of road hugged a tree then kissed a concrete culvert in new Altima... RIP. Minor neck/back pain... masseuse does wonders.

Jan 08: Pick up used car... waste way too much money doing maintenance... *sigh*

Jan 08.2: Put offer in on big ol' house... accepted.

Feb 08: Waiting around for a closing date... [watches clock]

Feb 08.2: Close on house... temperatures at wonderful lows... house has no heat or water yet... must wait for warmer days to fix. Kerosene, and painting... cause good headaches! But white primer looks much better than ugly purple and blue walls.

Mar 08: Sitting at work... wishing I were going to BS08... ready to get to the house and start working on the plumbing before the cold snap returns... and realizing in 2 weeks I will no longer be 20 somthing. 😐 *sigh*

Hope all are well!

Re: Still Alive...

Glad to hear you survived the slide off. But don't sigh over no longer
being 20, you're still a baby.

I'm just creeping up on the "average" middle-age for my family...they live
pretty long, so you've got a long ways to come yet. 🙂

Well... Good side that hugged tree --- http://ludicious.com/pix/altima/altima-04.jpg

Bad side that ate culvert --- http://ludicious.com/pix/altima/altima-11.jpg

Pictures of house are still on memory card at home, need more "work in progress shots". I'll summarize its current state...

Built: 1840, 2 story brick, 4 fire places (3 working), all new subfloors (no floor covering WOOHOO hardwoods coming!), lots of new windows, need a couple more yet, needs lots of landscaping work and some gravel for the drive. Hopefull sell price in 1-2 years... $140k... purchase price.... $60k. 😄

Re: Still Alive...

Ok, didn't you break the axel out from under a BMW a few years ago? You
need to stop trying to kill yourself...;-)

House sounds really cool, can't wait to see pictures.

Re: Still Alive...

Ouch!
I played "guess the state" with your license plate: Scenic Idaho (Famous
Potatoes)?
http://www.worldlicenceplates.com/jpglps/USA_ID_GI7_1970's-today.jpg

The house sounds awesome. How many sq. feet? My best friend moved into an
old house six years ago, and has enough fixing up to do with it that it'll
keep her out of trouble for the foreseeable future. I just love to go there
and be surrounded by its character.

I agree with OB, you need to quit running into things. Insurance

I really need to see pictures of the house before I approve.

Re: Still Alive...

Wierd. I was just thinking about you today. I was thinking about the
fact that I haven't heard from you in a while and wondering if you were
going to Brainshare.

Bummer about your vehicle and Brainshare but I'm glad you're okay.

I thought you turned 30 last year. 😉
